1. How much of your (real) life time have you dedicated to My Chem? Um? I bought their album in like April 2004. I had heard a few people online and on this local radio show mention them a few times before hand. I've talked about them with old friends and started conversations with new ones about them since then. I listen to their music...whenever I feel like it. One of the three is usually one of the first albums I play...I don't really know what this question is asking.

2. Are any of your closest friends into My Chem? If not, do they at least respect you and the band? My closest friends, no. Many of some of my old college friends claim to not like them anymore. My brother's actually a fan though. He doesn't think liking a band's music means he has to respect them or know much about the band at all. Actually when he found out that I had been listening to them for a year before he came along, he immediately asked, "They're not like a gay emo band, are they?" I merely looked at him, "Do you think they are?" He said, "Nah." And the issue was dropped entirely.

3. Have you ever been singled out/mocked/prejudged for being a My Chem fan? A few times. I think we've grown past outright mocking others for their music tastes though.

4. Frank once said, "It's [our fandom] like a community now, where kids are finding people just like them, and that's what the message is." Do you feel that his observation is correct? Yeah, but I think that's true of all fandoms. There is unity, but it's selective.

5. What is your take on Elitism and My Chem, and how do you, personally, handle it? There is fine line between arrogance and pretension. That's all I'll say.

1. What is your absolute favourite My Chem song? For awhile it was "It's Not A Fashion Statement, It's A Fucking Deathwish" to the point that it's no longer playable on my CD. But now it's probably a close draw between "Mama" and "Hang Em High".

2. If you were given the creative freedom to re-make any My Chem video which one would you do? What would be your premise? I don't think "Mama" has been done yet...if it has, direct me to a link, please! It would begin like Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody", then transition into a story about a blonde womanizing window washer who gets involved with the mob. Recalling his adventures on one of his worst days, to the memory of a mother he abandoned long ago.

3. Have any of their songs ever made you cry, even for the silliest of reasons? Lots of My Chem songs are quite emotional for me, but the silliest reason I've ever cried during one of their songs, "Sleep". Reminds me of Barty crouchjr.

4. What is your favourite My Chem music video? As a fan of Rushmore and music videos that have the vaguest to nothing to do with the actual song, "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)", wins every time.

5. If you could pick any song for My Chem to cover, which would it be? "Bohemian Rhapsody".
